The Excellence Continues
The Northern Cincinnati Youth Orchestras, now in its ninth year, is currently accepting violin, viola, cello, and bass students, kindergarten through 12th grade.
Our philosophy is to enhance the musical experience not only for the members of the orchestra but in the community at large. The repertoire is varied, embracing both classical and alternative styles while maintaining a high level of excellence.
Cadet Orchestra rehearsal time is Tuesday evening, 5:30-6:30 p.m.
Concertino Orchestra rehearsal time is Tuesday evening, 6:30-7:30 p.m.
Senior Orchestra rehearsal time is Tuesday evening, 7:30-8:45 p.m.
Our Mission
The mission of the Youth Orchestra of Cincinnati is to foster and promote the musical interests and abilities of each individual student while striving for excellence. We aim to develop our youth musically while also enhancing such skills as cognitive learning, tolerance, independent thinking, and cultural awareness.
